I have a severe neck pain especially where the...
I have a severe neck pain especially where the neck is connected to head (on the top portion of neck). This pain increases while lying down at night and unable to sleep. I took MRI can and doctor said I have disc desiccation at multiple levels in the spine, mild posterior disc bulge at C3-C4, C4-C5, C5-C6 and C6-C7 levels causing narrowing of central canal and indentation of ventral thecal sac. Underwent 8 sections of physiotherapy but still there is severe pain at the top portion of the neck. kindly advice.

What is the treatment of neck Pain ?
You should follow the following tips and advice to treat and relieve neck pain :
- Apply water compressors for 15 minutes three times per day .
- Avoid wrong postures and sitting positions .
- Apply Voltaren Gel three times per day .
- You need to do physical exercises such as swimming or other kind of exercises regularly
- Take analgeisc when necessary as Ibuprofen or Piroxicam .
- Steroid injections in some cases .
- You need to do clinical assessment in the nearest medical center if your symptoms presisted despite following the previous tips
