Hi I want to find out regarding visa 20 concell...
Hi I want to find out regarding visa 20 concellation. I list my both parents and will be going to bury them. I want to come back to Kuwait but on a better visa. I told my sponsor to cancel my visa. He said he has cancelled it but there was no cancellation stap on my resistance sticker on my passport. He did not given my civil ID that they collected it at immigration. I went to airport criminal dept to check they said my residence is still valid. Also when I check my civil ID status on line I was told that it's still valid.

No I didn't file any thing. I just wanted to be sure he cancelled my residence as he said because I want to come back to Kuwait almost immediately. Thanks

Nothing Elsa just to be sure my sponsors cancelled my visa because as it is now there is no sign he cancelled my residence

You have to file a complaint at the Manpower Authority against the employer for not fulfilling his / her obligations under the work contract
The employer will be notified for an investigation and interrogation, and the complaint will be referred to the labor court for ruling
You have to submit your complaint and raise your claim within one year from the date of the employer's violation act.
Article 144 of the Kuwaiti Labor Law stipulates that
Cases of labor disagreements are not heard or reviewed after a pass of a year of the act, this is in case claims are brought by workers according to the provisions of this law shall not be heard upon denial of employers.
