good morning, i have a friend who has overstayed in the UAE since 2018. she would like a discount on her overstay fine. and wants to pay, and would like to extend her visa so she can stay in the UAE legally. what can she do please. what are the steps and procedures to take. she has a sharjah visa. thank you

You can file a grievance with the General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs to agree to exempt you from the fine or part of it and to pay it in installments, knowing that:
