Self-Confidence is the way in which a person looks at him/herself,  whether it is high or low. Self-esteem is very important in that it is the gateway to all kinds of success, so no matter how a person uses methods of success and self-development, if his self-esteem and his look of it are wrong and weak, he / she will not succeed in succeeding any of these methods for success, because he / she sees him/herself incapable and not deserving of this success
Poor self-esteem may be due to
Incorrect childhood development that relied on over protection or cruelty
Fear of being criticized or mocked for doing his usual actions, so he resorts to isolation and keeps fearing criticism of all kinds.
