is polycystic ovarian disease can cause infertility because of heavy periods ?
yes the pcod might be a a cause of infertility but the treatment for infertelity is possible in such cases

the anti-estrogen drugs such as clomiphene is a good choice if you try to get pregnant in case you have pcod and letrozole which is a cancer treatment for breast cancer that is used in pcod to simulate the ovulation and also the famous drug for diabetis ( METFORMIN )  is used to help regulate the menstrual periods and help in conception and during pregnancy to sustain and stabilize the pregnancy
