I'm writing in behalf of my friend. She is under...
I'm writing in behalf of my friend. She is under kadama visa but works in sponsor's catering company as Arabic food chef. Sponsor doesn't give any off to her, and doesn't pay over time. She works 12 to 15 hours a day. There are Lots of food orders and sponsor going to cancel her accusing that one food order was delayed. But he said he would not give noc. She is not allowed to go out to find a job and or for a job interview. Is it possible to get noc from government and change the company without noc? Please help because she needs a job to look after her 2 3 kids.

In case you are inquiring about that your employer is forcing the worker to work at his / her time of rest, find the following information:
The Qatari Domestic labor Law obliges the employer not to force the worker to work on his / her rest times or weekly holidays.
The employer has pay overtime pay for overtime hours.
Also, if the employer cancels the visa and terminates the employment contract due to delays in preparing any requests, then you can file a complaint at the Ministry of Labor and at the Human Rights Department in the Ministry of Interior

Article 7
An employer shall be responsible for the following:
1. Provide suitable housing and food to a domestic worker, appropriate medical care, medicine, and medical equipment in the case of sickness, or injury during the performance of his/her duties, or as a result therefrom, without incurring any financial burdens on the domestic worker.
2. Treat domestic workers well, in a manner which will safeguard their dignity and well being.
3. Avoid exposing a domestic worker’s health or life to danger, or harm him/her physically or morally in any manner whatsoever.
4. A domestic worker shall not work during his/her sick leave.
5. A domestic worker shall not work during his/her rest periods, or during his/her weekly rest, unless there is a prior agreement between both parties to the contrary.

Article 12
The maximum hours of work shall not exceed ten hours a day, unless there is an agreement to the contrary, interrupted by periods for worship, rest and food. Such periods shall not be included in the calculation of the hours of work.
Article 13
A domestic worker shall be entitled to a paid weekly rest holiday, which is not less than twenty four consecutive hours. The timing of the weekly rest shall be determined based on the agreement between both parties as indicated in the labour contract.
The maximum hours of work shall not exceed ten hours a day, unless there is an agreement to the contrary, interrupted by periods for worship, rest and food. Such periods shall not be included in the calculation of the hours of work.
Article 13
