what are the diagnostic teats required ?
the first thing that the doctor will do in such situation is take your medical history and the history of present illness plus the full clinical examinations specially the neurological exams then he might request a MRI brain scan followed by an exam for you vision to check for the visual strength and for any brain lesion  and in some cases the doctor migh also ask for a brain byopsy in case of tumor is suspected and a CAT scan for the brain in case of brain ischemia is suspected to look for any brain ischemic changes
