We would like to inform you that according to the Electronic Crime and Information Technology Law No. (5) for the year 2012 and amended by Federal Law No. (12) for the year 2016, in the UAE, we recommend that you file a complaint with the Public Prosecution Department, the Electronic Crime Prevention Service, submit a complaint, and explain the matter in detail for the purposes of tracking this person, arresting him, and referring him to court For the prosecution, the same penalty shall be imposed on: Whoever creates or designs any method of information technology to facilitate these acts. Or, without the use of a credit, electronic or debit card, with the intention of obtaining for himself or others, the funds of others. Or whoever deals with these cards knowing that they are not legitimate
Obtaining a secret number or password without permission
Punishment: Imprisonment with a fine of no less than 200,000 and no more than 500,000, or one of these two penalties
The same penalty applies to whoever designs, buys, or sells an information program that incites this matter
Intentionally intercept or capture any communication through the information network without permission
Imprisonment with a fine of no less than 150,000 AED and no more than 500,000 AED, or one of the two penalties
If the information heard in this call is disclosed, the perpetrator shall be punished by imprisonment for a period of no less than one year.
Threatening someone to do or refrain from using the information network
Punishment: Imprisonment for a period not exceeding two years and a fine of no less than 250,000 AED and no more than 500,000 AED , or one of the two penalties.
If the threat to commit a felony or fabricate matters that are dishonorable to modesty and honor, the perpetrator shall be punished with imprisonment for a period not exceeding 10 years
