Treatment of gonorrhea

It is one of the commonest condition of sexual transmitted diseases which affected due to sex with infected couple. Firstly, It is better to have protected sex in future. In addition to that you can take

• METRONIDAZOLE 500 mg twice daily for ten days
• also you can take AZITHROMYCIN 500 mg once daily for five daily
• Take CEFTRIAXONE 250 mg IM once only

It is expected to have symptoms improvement by these drugs

Investigations to do

At first you can do urine analysis to clarify if there is urinary tract infections. Also You can take Swab for culture from your discharge to confirm the diagnosis.

Symptoms of gonorrhea

There are many symptoms like

• FEVER
• Lower abdominal pain
• Back pain
• Dysurea
• Increased vaginal discharge
• Itching
