I am resident in Qatar. I have a UK registered...
I am resident in Qatar. I have a UK registered limited company. I hired services from another UK limited company to enable me to fulfill a contract with an agency in Qatar, part of Qatar Foundation. I received payment for the contract which was paid into a bank account in Qatar registered in the name of my UK limited company. I am now in dispute with the UK company over payment for the services they provided. The UK company has instructed a law firm in Dubai to proceed against my limited company for recovery of the alleged debt. My question is can a court in Qatar (or UAE) have any jurisdiction or right to enforce legal action in a civil matter against one UK limited company over a contract with another UK limited company for services provided in the UK ?

In case there is a contract that includes mutual obligations between two companies in the UK, the Emirate courts or Qatar's cannot interfere or give statements about such cases. While, on the other hand, you have to review the concluded contract between the contractors, knowing that such types of contracts is defined and concluded, and only competent courts shall judge between contractors.
Finally, and if the other party are raising a case against you in Qatar or UAE to stand still and tell them that the UAE / Qatar courts have no business in such contract that was originally concluded in UK
