Is it possible to study law in Qatar if you are an...
Is it possible to study law in Qatar if you are an Asian who managed to Graduate Law but have not admitted to the Integrated Bar yet. Thank you so much for your attention. God bless.

We would like to inform you that it is possible to study the law in Qatar, but it may not be possible for you to work in this field even if the law permits working as a legal consultant with a Qatari attorney’s office, especially since it is with reference to Law No. (1) for the year 2018 amended Article (13):
Those whose names are restricted to the list of practicing lawyers are required to:
1- He must be a Qatari citizen or a citizen of the Gulf Cooperation Council states, subject to reciprocity and the approval of the committee.
2 - He holds a law degree from one of the recognized universities, or a degree in Sharia for those who previously worked in the judiciary or the Public Prosecution for a period of not less than two years.
3- He must have full civil capacity, at least twenty-one years old.
4- To be of good conduct and reputation, respectful of the profession.
5- That he has not been issued a final judgment against him for a crime or dishonorable crime, unless he has been rehabilitated.
6- That he has spent the training period in accordance with the provisions of this law.
7 - to pass the personal interview and tests, according to the controls set by the committee.
Qatari faculty members holding a PHD. who teach law at a recognized university may be enrolled in the roll of practicing lawyers.

Every lawyer who has lost one of the registration conditions stipulated in this Article shall be removed from the roll of practicing lawyers, and a decision shall be issued by the committee.
A lawyer may file a grievance with the committee with respect to the delisting decision, and appeal its decision issued in the grievance, in accordance with the provisions of Article (29) of this law.
