Treatment of scoliosis:
It depends on many factors as:
- Degree of scoliosis
- Patient age
- Symptoms
- Conservative management as physiotherapy if it is less than 25 degree,
- wearing brace if it is between 25-45 degree
- Surgery for advances degrees more than 45 degree of scoliosis and symptoms
Symptoms of scoliosis:
- Dyspnea
- Back pain
- Chest pain
- Upper limbs numbness, weakness and pain
Diagnosis of scoliosis:
It depends on the clinical examination and investigations as:
- Vertebral x-ray
- Certebral CT scan
