:Treatment of hematuria
- generally the first treatment is life style modification such as increase water intake, decrease salt consumption, stop smoking
- mainly the treatment based on the cause
- if the cause is urinary tract infection so the treatment is a course of antibiotics such as cefuroxime 500mg twice daily for 7 days
- if it associated with flank pain so the cause is a course of hyociene butyl bromide three times per day for 7 days
- if there other causes which are depends on the lab investigations so you should seek your doctor in hospital for appropriate treatment
