I am in Abu Dhabi on a Canadian Passport. I entered on December 2nd, 2019. I was granted a Tourist Visa for one month. I want to renew at the Immigration Office, Copy Center. For how long will my renewal be please.

We would like to inform you that UAE expats can renew a tourist visa or visit visa of all kinds after it expires for 30 days, only twice, without the need to leave the country and return again, in return for a fee of AED 600. Who wants to extend the visit or tourist visa has to apply 30 days prior to the expiry of his visa through the sponsor who issued the visa through the offices of tourism and airlines.
In case of overstay, he will not be able to extend his visa and will be obliged to leave the country and return with a new visa if he wants to return

Regarding the renewal of the visa, as we clarified, the application for renewal must be submitted before the expiry of the visa.
The time taken to agree to a visa renewal is a maximum of one to two business days

For explanation, visitors to the UAE can apply for visa extension for the visit and tourism kind of visas. Extension is for 30 days and for TWO times ONLY regardless of the original duration of the first issued visa, and extension does not require exiting the country
