Treatment of vaginal pain:

It depends on the cause, and till the right diagnosis you can use the following treatment:

• Flagyl 500 mg three times daily
• Ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice daily
• Diktazole vaginal suppositories once daily before sleep for three days
•  Miconazole cream twice daily

Causes of vaginal pain:

It may be due to:

• Fungal infection associated with white discharge, itching and bad odor
• Bacterial infection
• Vaginal ulcers
• UTI
• Fibroids
• Allergy...etc

Diagnosis of the cause of vaginal pain :

It depends on the clinincal examination of a gynacologist and investigations as:

• PAP smear
• Abdomen and pelvis ultrasound
• Urine analysis

And you have to drink good amount of water daily and avoid salts.
