We would like to inform you that if you faced any electronic harassment such as insults, defamation and extortion, the Public Prosecution Office may be in charge of combating cyber crime. The offenses therefore deserve to be punished pursuant to Article 11, paragraph 2, of the Penal Code, which stipulates that “Any person who commits outside the territory of Kuwait shall be deemed to be an original perpetrator or a partner in a crime that took place in whole or in part in the territory of Kuwait”. • If a person intentionally eavesdrops, intercepts or picks up any of the transmitters through the information network or any other means of information technology, he or she shall be punished by two years' imprisonment and a fine of 2,000 to 5,000 Kuwaiti dinars
• Imprisonment shall be two years and a fine of 2000 to 5000 for anyone who creates, publishes, produces, prepares, transmits or even stores information or data for the purpose of exploitation, distribution or presentation to other persons.
