My company is not handing over my passport as visa is about to end in January and I not able to Apply else where due to not having my passport

We would like to inform you that according to the Bahrain Labor Law, if you are an expat with work visa, the employer\sponsor is not entitled to take your passport, if so then you have to ask him to get it back. If he refused then you have to go to the nearest police office and file a complaint, then take a copy of the complaint to the labor office to prove the employer violation. As the law allows only the governmental departments to take the passport with legal reason, but the private sectors are not allowed.

Thanks as it's a single person company and yes I'm an expat they have invoiced me for things I'm not accountable for and are pressuring me to pay the amount and take.My passport or else they Will file a case against me

It is not possible to submit to the extortion of the company, which aims to evade payment of rights, as long as there is no evidence to condemn or clarify the violation, and you can go to the labor office and file a complaint against employer to follow-up by them.
