We would like to inform you that if the worker works for the employer according to an employment contract and the worker is during the probation period, the employer may terminate the contract during the probation period if he finds out that the worker is not fit to perform the work, provided that the worker is notified of this at least 3 days before the termination of the contract. But if the labor contract does not stipulate the probation period, the employer should have conducted an investigation with the worker who was talking on the phone and the appropriate penalty shall be imposed for that.

 However, if the employer abuses his right and dismisses you arbitrarily, you may file a complaint against the employer in the relevant labor office according to the Qatari Labor Law, which stipulates  the following:

Article (39)

The service contract may contain a provision subjecting the worker to a probation period to be agreed on between the two parties provided that the probation period shall not exceed six months.

The worker shall not be subjected to more than one probation period with the same employer.

The employer may terminate the contract within the probation period if it has been proved to him that the worker is not capable of carrying out the work provided that the employer shall notify the worker thereof before at least three days from the date of termination
