I was sent to work in a company in Riyadh, KSA by my employer in Cairo, Egypt. He sent me because I already have an iqama in KSA, but my iqama is not legal to work with it. He used my situation to provide the other firm with a resource as fast as possible. I didn’t have time to consider the legality of this as I had few days till my flight to Riyadh. I also thought that they will provide me with work visa when I go there, but they didn’t and I was in a risky situation with going to work with this iqama. He also arranged with the other firm to move my iqama to them and work with them without talking to me first about it. I went back to Cairo because of a situation that happened and caused the other firm to ask me to travel back to my country so that I will not be busted for illegal work. When I met with my employer after this he pretended like nothing happened and he didn’t even apologize for it. Now he wants to do paper work for someone else to travel, but legally this time. He just put me in jeopardy and then pretended nothing happened because he don’t want to be questioned. Now I want to leave the company and file a lawsuit against him.
