sir I have an appeal case against the judgement received from the first instance court in Dubai towards a criminal case logged for breach of trust and misendeavour of funds however the accused has fled away to his home country what can I expect at this stage

yes a criminal case was filed as soon as he was in the country he was arrested and put behind bars for 14 days against 2 criminal cases guarantors have put in passports that are linked to both cases and he was given his passport back on the pretext of renewing his visa after which he left the country

We would like to inform you that according to the Code of Criminal Procedure No. 35 of 1992, the Court of Appeal has the power to amend or uphold the judgment, which is the judgment issued by the Court of First Instance.
However, with the escape of this person, the court and the public prosecution can request this person as a fugitive from justice through Interpol for the purpose of his extradition to UAE and trial him.
Therefore, we advise to hire a lawyer who applies for the assistance of Interpol after obtaining the address of his residence through his nationality and the passport number for the purposes of the trial in the country.

With regard to the guarantor or the guarantors, and if they are summoned by the court, the assessment of the matter shall be subject to the court as the escape of the person outside the State it is such a force majeure that they are forbidden to prevent it and the court 's decision is to judge him by trial or request their release
