Treatment of delayed pregnancy:

Delayed pregnancy of infertility is defined as the inability to get conception after 12 months of regular sexual intercourse without using any contraceptive method.
So we do not advise women to visit doctors before full 12 months of trying to get conception.
If you infertility occur, treatment depends on the cause and may include:

• Conservative management by having good nutrition, avoid stress, drink good amount of water daily, doing regular exercise
• Hormonal therapy as contraceptive medications for ovarian cysts, fibroids...etc
• Testosterone for hormonal problems in men
• Surgery as treatment of cysts, fibroids, varicocele...etc

Causes of infertility:

In many cases, there is no known cause of infertility, and it may be due to

• Causes related to husband as low sperms, varicocele, low testosterone...etc
• Causes related to wife as ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, hormonal problems...etc
• Nutritional problems

Diagnosis of the cause of infetility:

You have to visit a gynacologist for clinical examination and investigations as:

• Semen analysis
• Testosterone level in men
• Prostate and semen canals examination
• Abdomen and pelvis US
• TSH, Free T4 for thyroid diease
• LH, FSH, Prolactin...etc

What i advise you?

I do not advise you to get any medications at 7 months if there is no known cause of delayed pregnancy.
