Hi good morning sir, I am iftikhar Ahmad and having fine for overstay on my employment visa. The police was arrested me in Ras Al khaima and now the released me and give me time for 2 weeks to settle my visa and fine. But this problem I am facing bcoz of my sponcer he is they one to make it deley.now I want apply for my visa but the told me I must has to pay fine 1st so any one can help me and can guide me how I will reduce my fine. Thanks alot

As according to the Federal Aliens' Residence Law and its Executive Regulations, every foreigner has canceled his visa or residence permit or it’s expired at the end of the permit or the visa, and he didn’t apply for the renewal, in cases where this is possible, within a period not exceeding 30 days from the date of expiry or he did not leave the country within that period, then he will have fine not exceed 100 AED per day of illegal residence once the grace period is finished.
Therefore, you have to pay the fine to get visa, and you can apply to reduce the fine amount according to your financial situation.
