That’s because each and every free zone authority has its own employment law,

And employees in the free zone are subject to the rules and regulations of their respective authority.

That means that all the employees are under a contract with the respective authority.

However, the contract should be in accordance with the UAE Labour Law.

Moreover, free zone employees are sponsored by their respective free zone authorities and not by their employer.
