Treatment of neuropathic pain:
It depends on the cause, so treatment may include:
- Conservative managment by avoiding stress, good nutrition, doing regular exercise
- Take complements as multiviatmine sun rise
- Control diabetes
- Treating thyroid disturbances
- Treating cervical disc
- Tegretol 200 mg once daily before sleep
- Vitmain B complex day after day ( IM injections )
Causes of neuropathic pain:
It may be due to:
- Stress and anxiety
- Diabetes
- Cervical disc
- Thyroid disease
- Poor nutrition
- Brain disease as multiple myeloma...etc
Diagnosis of the cause of neuropathic pain:
You have to visit a neurologist for clinical examination and investigations as:
- CBC
- TSH, Free T4
- Glucose level
- Cervical MRI
- Brain CT ot MRI...etc
