We would like to inform you that if you are an expat in Bahrain and want to inquire about status that may cause the deportation of you violate the residence after the end of the work visa as below articles state:
Article (80):
If the worker is accused of committing any violation, the employer may temporarily suspend him from his work for a period not exceeding sixty days if the work interest or the investigation department requires that his wage be paid.
Article (81):
If the worker is accused of committing a felony or misdemeanor violating honor, honesty or public morals or committing a misdemeanor within the Labor Department, the employer may temporarily suspend him from work until a decision is issued by the Public Prosecution in this respect. The criminal case or the competent court acquitted the worker for reasons related to the denial of the crime rate to him and must be returned to his work.
If it is proved that the accusation of the worker was made by the employer or his representative, his remuneration shall be paid for the period of the suspension. Both the Public Prosecution and the competent court shall, if proven, refer to it in its decision or judgment.
Article (82)
If, on the occasion of his work, the worker causes loss or damage to the tools, machinery or products owned by the employer or in his custody and that results from deliberate or gross negligence, he shall pay the value of what has been lost or damaged.
The employer, after conducting the investigation and notifying the worker, may start deducting the said amount from the wage of the worker, provided that such deductions shall not exceed five days' wages per month.
The worker may appeal against the employer's assessment before the competent court within one month from the date of his knowledge of this estimate.
The employer shall not collect the value of what has been lost or destroyed by deduction from the wage of the worker if this value exceeds the wage of two months.
In addition to any other criminal cases away from the labor field.
