It is not normal to bleed while you are not  the time of your menses
causes of intermenstrual bleeding:
  • fibroid uterus 
  • adenomysois
  • anovulatory cycles due to stress
  • thyroid gland dysfunction 
  • high prolactin level 
  • PCOS 
  • bleeding disorder 

diagnosis of intermenstrual bleeding:
  • ultrasound for the pelvic organ 
  • FSH-LH -TESTOSTERONE LEVEL
  • TSH LEVEL
  • prolactin level 
  • PT-PTT -INR -CBC 

Treatment of intermenstrual bleeding:
  • birth controll pill to control bleeding and organize the cycle
  • hystrocopic ligation of the polyp 
  • fibroid embolization 
  • iron for anemia 
  • metformin with OCP for PCOS 
  • hormone replacemet by L troxin in case of hypothyroidism
