We would like to inform you that in the event that you are residing in Qatar and wish to marry in the place of residence, so it is considered a requirement of marriage to obtain a document of divorce or a copy of it if the marriage is not Islamic and within the jurisdiction of the Shari'a court, so in the event that the marriage is civil you may review the embassy and apply to obtain a copy of the marriage contract document or through a power of attorney to someone, at the place of residence of the divorced wife ,who is responsible for obtaining a copy of the divorce document and sending it to you by urgent mail. So this is how procedures are done in this regard.
