Are we get married on visit visa in Dubai?

We would like to inform that marriage in the UAE is required for at least one of the suitors to reside in the UAE therefore, if you have a visit visa, you can marry provided that the other party has a valid residence visa. Details of the marriage procedures are as follows:

The required documents:

- Birth certificates

- Original passports and copies of residence visas

- A certificate of proof of whether the groom or the bride is single, widowed or divorced, whether outside the UAE (by the applicant's foreign ministry and UAE consulate in that country) or in the UAE (by the applicant's consulate and the UAE foreign ministry)

- Certificate of health fitness for marriage

Terms & Conditions:

* One of the expatriate parties wishing to marry must have a valid residence visa.

* Both parties must undergo a medical examination before the marriage is completed.

* The guardian of the bride must consent to the marriage; in the absence of the father, the male relative of the family is the guardian.

* Grooms must be UAE residents.
