what is the treatment of throat infection ?

anti pyritic agents such as acetaminophin to relief the pain and reduce the fever based on a dose of 15 ml per kg three times a day
in special cases and onley according to the docotrs examination an antibiotic might be indicated if there is a sign of bacterial infection such as augmentin 15 ml per kg twice daily for 7 days at least

what are the signs and symptoms of throat infection ?

fever
loss of apetite
fatigue
nause and vomiting
headache
decreased activity
throat pain
sweeling of the lynph nodes around the area of infection ( submandubular of around the neck )

what are the diagostic tests ?

medical history and clinical examination
oral inspection
compleate blood count to check for the white blood cells ( usually high in case of bacterial infection ( above 11000) )
in severe cases a throat swap with culture might be taken in case of failure of treatment to achive progress

what is the advice ?

we advice you to visit a pediatrician for the right diagnosis and the correct treatment
