Treatment of painful urination:
It depends on the cause, so treatment may include:
- Conservative management by drinking good amount of water daily, avoiding salts
- Levofloxacin 750 mg once daily
- Surgical intervention as removal of renal stones
Causes of painful urination:
It may be due to:- Urinary tract infection
- Renal stones
- Prostatitis
- Prostate enalrgment
Dignosis of the cause of painful urination:
It depends on the clinical examination of your doctor and investigations as:
- Urine analysis
- Urine culture
- Renal function tests ( urea, creatinine )
