The UAE Labor Law does not grant the right of a doctor or worker in general to terminate the specified employment contract and if the worker legally terminates the contract of limited duration a compensation shall be paid to the employer not exceeding one and a half months' salary in addition to the employer's right to impose a ban and prevent the doctor from working for one year in the UAE where the employer can suddenly terminate the contract of employment specified by the request to impose a ban against the worker and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization to examine the request to impose the ban submitted by the employer against the worker and after studying the request issued a decision to accept or reject the application where acceptance or rejection of the ban is at the discretion of the concerned party and we advised you to negotiate with the employer and obtain his written consent to terminate the contract of employment with mutual consent between him and the worker to avoid the ban.
Here is the text of the UAE Labor Law regarding your inquiry:
Article (116):
Where a contract is revoked by the worker for reasons other than those stipulated in Article (121), he shall be required to compensate the employer for any damage the latter sustains as a result, provided that the amount of compensation shall not exceed half a month wage for three months or for the remaining period of the contract, whichever is shorter, unless otherwise stipulated in the contract.
