If you drive and you were drunk and in accordance with the Qatari Penal Code
Article 270
Whoever drinks any alcoholic beverages in a public place or opens a store or a house to trade in alcoholics shall be punished with imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months and/or a fine not exceeding three thousand Qatari Riyals (QR 3.000).
The same penalty shall apply to any person who is found drunk on a main road or, being intoxicated disturbs others.
Article 61:
That if the loss of cognition or will is the result of drugs or narcotic substances or mascara taken by the offender of his choice and knowledge, the crime that has occurred, even if it requires criminal intent, is as if it had occurred without anesthesia or sugar. If the offender has taken drugs or narcotics Or intentional mascara with a view to committing the crime from which he has committed is not an aggravating circumstance.
