i get caught in burdubai laat friday and they ask for emirates id,but d problem my id not with me.they took my passport and i dont know f they give fine or not coz nothing given any ticket from,my main concern is do i get fine or not even they didnt give ticket for fine?? thank you

We would like to inform you that according to the UAE Residence Law, regarding to expats, if they took your passport because you didn’t have your UAE ID, then that doesn’t mean to have fine. So we advise you to review that authority and provide your ID and get your passport without fines.
