We would like to inform you that if you want to n know whether you are allowed to work if you applied for asylum, then if the asylum application is applied inside Qatar, then the refugee will get the below benefits:

1. The right of the refugee to bring his family members up to the first degree, provided that the refugee's children do not exceed the age of 18 years.
2. The right of the refugee to freedom of movement and travel with his family during the validity of their residence permits. The political refugee shall inform the Committee for Political Refugees Affairs before traveling outside the country.
3. The right of the refugee to monthly financial assistance until he gets a job opportunity of three thousand Qatari riyals for the refugee and eight hundred Qatari riyals for his wife and each of his children.
4. The right of a refugee to work.
5. The right of the refugee to housing where the political refugee has the right to provide housing for him and his wife and family members, a room for every two or three people.
6. The right to health care for the refugee and his family
7. The right of the refugee and his family to education
8. The right of the refugee to obtain a travel document and the validity of the travel document is two years renewable for a similar period or other periods, but not more than the validity of the residence card. A political refugee can not leave Qatar without his travel document.

However, if the asylum application is submitted to the UNHCR office, the applicant must apply to the Human Rights Department of Ministry of Interior to allow him to work until the application is accepted or rejected.
