Please what is the Emirates red crescent all about

We would like to inform you that the Emirates Red Crescent Foundation is a voluntary humanitarian organization that plays a supporting role for the official authorities in times of peace and war. Founded on 31/1/1983, it gained international recognition for joining the International Federation of Red Crescent and Red Cross Societies in 1986.
It handles many tasks such as :
· Health awareness and education
· Establishing projects for the most needy groups such as widows, orphans, the elderly and people with special needs
· Relief of people affected by various disasters
· Bring competencies for volunteer work
