I have an immigrant US visa but not entered...
I have an immigrant US visa but not entered America yet.My employer wants to cancel my visa since they can’t wait for me for another 2 months..And they are asking me to pay 15,000 USD for all the processing, is that legal? I did not sign any contract regarding that 15,000 UsD payment.Actually I paid all the processing fees except for the IV fee bill.

We would like to inform you that if you have residence in UAE and you have work visa in USA and you can’t travel and you have threatens by the employer to cancel the visa or pay compensation, then note that the employer can cancel the visa as there is contract and the company can’t wait for 2 months. For the amount that they require, that is illegal and it could be blackmail. So we advise you not to pay any amount to avoid fraud, and if you can travel then you don’t have to delay that.
