I want to change my company because my visa expire...

We would like to inform you that you shall apply to the Ministry of Labor in Oman to transfer your sponsorship to a new sponsor attaching the following documents:

·         Two personal photographs (4 x 6 cm).

·         A copy of the foreigner's passport valid for at least six months.

·         Work permit issued by the Ministry of Labor with a copy of it for each application.

·         A medical examination card with a copy of it for some of the countries and approved by the Ministry of Health (India, Pakistan, Philippines, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Syrian Arab Republic, Nepal)

·         Attach a copy of the approval of the competent authority for certain professions such as: teaching professions, religious professions, media and medical professions, etc.

·         Attach a letter from the Ministry of labor to the qualified professions such as engineers and others.

·         If the foreigner has previously worked in the Sultanate of Oman and has not completed two years from the date of his departure, he must bring the CV from his previous employer, provided that it is approved by the General Directorate of Passports and Residence.

· A waiver from the previous sponsor approved by the Ministry of Manpower, provided that violations such as overstay fines are settled upon submission of the application.
