We would like to inform you that in case you have been robbed here and referring to the UAE Code of Criminal Procedure, the complaint must be addressed to the Public Prosecution, which is charged according to the results of the investigation (theft) therefore we recommend that you go to the Public Prosecution and submit a criminal complaint for the possibility of summoning, investigating, convicting and referring to the court that's mean the conviction is proven, the referral to the court is carried out by instituting the criminal case by it, especially as it is according to the UAE Criminal Procedure and the text of article (10) Criminal proceedings may not be instituted in the following crimes except on the basis of a written or oral complaint from the victim or his legal representative:
1. Theft, fraud, breach of trust and hide things earned them if the victim or spouse of the offender was one of its assets or its branches were not these things reserved by judicial or administrative or burdened with the right to another person.
2. The minor shall not be extradited to a person who has the right to request and to dispose of the authority of his or her assignee.
3. Refrain from performing alimony, foster care, nursing or domicile.
4 - Insulting people and throwing them.
5. Other offenses provided for by law.
The Federal Penal Law provides for deterrent penalties for theft of crimes ranging from life imprisonment according to articles (383) and (384) as well as temporary imprisonment and imprisonment according to other articles, while the perpetrator is punished in Ta'zir if he refuses to sign the threshold limit as stipulated in article 381
The complaint shall not be accepted after three months from the day the victim and the perpetrator knew of the crime unless the law provides otherwise, by the penal part.
In the event of conviction and trial in the criminal case, civil action can be instituted on this argument and claim your money as well as compensation for all damage to you and subject to the assessment of the value of compensation to the court to issue a judgment
