Dear Customer,
Thanks for joining and trusting us, much appreciated!
We would like to inform you that foreigners in UAE can’t marry unless they applied the below requirments:
UAE expat of any nationality may marry in the UAE, irrespective of their religion, nationality, or origin by completing the marriage ceremony in accordance with their religious beliefs. Muslim expatriates can perform the marriage ceremony in the Courts Department, or by requesting a legal authorized home. The marriage application with all necessary documents is submitted to the Courts Department in Ras Al Khaimah. The marriage certificate is issued within a few days of the date of the contract, and non-Muslims can be married in the church (if they are Christians) or in their embassy or consulate in the UAE or their residence.
If a Christian marriage is completed in the church in Ras Al Khaimah, a marriage certificate must be obtained from the Courts Department. It is also advised that the marriage be registered at the respective consulates. Regardless of where the marriage ceremony takes place, whether in court, church or otherwise, married couples are required to register the marriage in the court and embassy of their respective countries.
The required documents
- Birth certificates
- Original passports and photos of residence visas
- A certificate of proof of whether the groom or the bride is single, widowed or divorced, certified both outside the country (by the applicant's foreign ministry and UAE consulate in that country) or in the UAE (by the applicant's consulate and the UAE foreign ministry)
- Healthy Fitness Certificate for Marriage
Terms & Conditions:
- One of the expatriate parties wishing to marry must have a valid residence visa.
- Both parties must undergo a medical examination before the marriage is completed.
- The guardian of the bride must consent to the marriage; in the absence of the father, the male relative of the family is the guardian, and in some exceptional cases the judge himself acts as guardian.
- The grooms must be UAE residents.
Requirements and conditions may vary from case to case, so spouses should consult their country's consulate in the country for additional details on all necessary requirements.
Unfortunately, UAE didn’t prevent marriage if all requirements are provided, but to prepare these documents by the Indian wife is too hard for Indian to marry in other country as the required documents for marriage by the UAE government from the original country of the husband or wife and that not easy.

Marriage or immigration procedures will not be suspended if you file a case against him unless the case is criminal, such as beating, insulting or libel. In other words, it requires penal sentences against him to prevent him from immigrating to Canada or traveling to any country.
