We would like to inform you that Romania is going to join the Schengen countries, which means that EU citizens can use their identity card instead of a passport to enter it. An entry visa with a passport valid for at least three months, issued no later than ten years prior to the date of application. UAE nationals do not require a visa to enter Romania, for a stay not exceeding 90 days, while Saudi nationals need a visa to travel to Romania
The conditions for travel to Romania are proof of the purpose of the travel, a confirmed hotel and flight booking, and a health insurance policy covering the length of travel to Romania.
The following documents are required to obtain a Romanian visa:
- Valid passport up to 90 days, and a copy.
- Two recent photographs with a white background of 4 x 3 cm.
- Fill out and sign the application form for Visa Romania.
- Photocopy of national ID card
- Provide a document from the sponsor or employer to clarify the monthly salary, appointment date, and job description.
- Submit the tax card and commercial register to your employers.
- Letter of invitation from a company in Romania or a public body.
- Submit a bank statement showing the account's movement for the last 3 months, not less than € 50 per day of stay in Romania, and a minimum of € 500.
- Conduct a personal interview at the Romanian Embassy.
- Pay the visa fee in local currency.
