Many thanks. My point was more around the insurance cover. Does UAE law require a minimum mandatory insurance cover linked to the market value of properties ?

Pricing is usually carried out on a basis related to the type and severity of the risk, as well as the units insured and the frequency of those risks over the past years, both on similar risk and the available and taken precautions. It is customary to cover the natural disasters of real estate within a document including whether fire or other coverings resulting from nature damage such as earthquakes, hurricanes, volcanoes, etc. The insurance coverage of real estate is extended through the basic fire document so that the coverage becomes within an expanded document called the Comprehensive Property document.
