In case your inquiry is about overstay for five months which is a violation in the UAE, find the following information:
If a person violates the tourist visa, he / she must pay a fine of one hundred dirhams for each day he / she overstays.
If you want to transfer the tourist visa to the work visa, you must pay the fine for the residence visa first.
A request can be submitted to the General Administration of Residency to exempt you from paying half of the fine amount, provided that you have to leave the country after paying the required amount immediately.
There is no other way to exempt from the full fine
