If any organization forces girls to work late...

We would like you to know that if your inquiry relates to the fact that an organization forces a girl to work to late time, we refer to the following information:

The UAE Labor Law stipulates that women should not work late, but have made some exceptions:

(A) cases where the work in the enterprise ceases.

(B) Working in administrative and technical centers with responsibility.

(C) Working in health services and other work specified by a decision of the Minister of Labor and social affairs if the working woman is not usually engaged in manual labor.

If the employer disagrees, she can file a complaint against the employer at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.

Here is the text of the UAE Labor Law regarding your inquiry:

Article 27

Women may not be employed at night. The word "night" shall mean a period of eleven consecutive hours at least including the period from 10pm until 7am.

Article 28

The following cases shall be exempt from the prohibition of women labour at night :

a - When work in the firm ceases by a force majeure.
b - Work in administrative and technical position.
c - Work in health services and other jobs determined by virtue of a decision issued by the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs should the working woman not normally practice a manual work
