We would like to inform you that to modify the name in the civil ID, here are the procedures for modifying the name in English (Latin) on Civil ID as per passport:

1. go to the residence affairs department in your governorate; if you are in Farwaniyayou may go to Reggai department.
2. submit an application to modify the name at the printers place and attach a copy of the passport, residence and civil ID and 2 personal photos.
3. Book a number at the reception at 6:30 am because at 8 am the tickets of numbers will be finished  and they will let you come next day.
4. After modifying the English name, request a copy of the amendment.
5. Take the paper that has been printed for the name after the amendment and go to the Office of the Civil Information Authority at the main gate of the residence affairs at Reggai in order to modify the name in English in their system.
