We would like to inform you that the student visa does not allow you to make reunion to your children.

If you are a refugee or immigrant living in France legally, and want to reunite your family and live with them under one roof (husband, wife, children) in the Diaspora, you must respect a set of rules and laws without which you cannot achieve your goal.

Before proceeding with family reunification, you must meet a set of conditions that we will now summarize:

*Be a refugee for more than 18 months

*Marriage shall have been made before the date of application for protection (as a refugee in France)

*The partner (wife or husband) shall be an adult (18 years)

*You have the financial ability to support your family (monthly income, aid ...)

*To have an accommodationthat meets the required conditions

Parents (father or mother) or (grandfather or grandmother) cannot be included in this application, but they can apply for a regular visit visa to France.

In order to carry out the reunification process, the application shall be completed on the website of the competent office (L'Ofii (office français de l'immigration et de l'intégration), the Immigration and Integration Service, which manages these matters through the following link:

After completing the application and sending the required documents (marriage document, birth document of the persons concerned ...), the entire application shall be sent to the competent office (L'Ofii) depending on the place of residence in each region or province.

The answer is to be sent to you by the police within 6 months. Anyone whose application got accepted for reunification is granted a one-year long residence permit in France, renewed annually, and after 3 years of permanent residence on the territory, the refugee is given a 10-year residence permit.
