We would like to inform you that if your inquiry relates to the work of your friend with an employer only for 3 months, the following information:

The UAE Labor Law did not grant the worker the right to terminate the employment contract during the initial probation period, which is no longer than 6 months or less as agreed between the worker and the employer.

If the worker terminates the employment contract before 6 months, he will be subject to the following penalties:

- Payment of compensation to the employer for illegal termination, a compensation not exceeding one month and a half salary.

- Impose a ban against the worker and prevent him from working for at least one year.

- The worker shall bear the price of the flight tickets if he will return to his country after the expiry of the employment contract.

We recommend your friend to negotiate with the employer in order to obtain the visa and residence and then wait until at least 6 more passes and then negotiate with the employer in order to terminate the employment contract by mutual written consent between the worker and the employer and agree to transfer the sponsorship to another employer.
