Can you use Sulphasalazine during pregnancy?

It is not recommended to use Sulphasalazine during pregnancy, especially for long period.

Effects of Sulphasalazine during pregnancy:

•  kernicterus in the newborn
• nhibits the absorption and metabolism of folic acid

Side effects of Sulphasalazine:

• Anorexia
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Headache
