Can I file annulment due to half years abandoned...

- The Philippine Family law has identified reasons that could be grounds for legal separation

These reasons are detailed in Article (55) of the Philippine Family Code, as follows:

- Physical violence or moral pressure to compel the petitioner to change religious or political affiliation

- The defendant attempts to corrupt or coerce the petitioner or a child between them or a child of the petitioner to engage in prostitution or participate in such acts

- A final judgment ordering the defendant to be imprisoned for more than six years, even if he is pardoned

- Drug addict addiction, or habitual alcohol abuse

- Misdemeanor and homosexuality of the defendant

- The respondent held a plural marriage within or outside the Philippines

- Sexual infidelity or perversion

- Attempted plaintiff to kill petitioner

- The defendant abandons the petitioner without reason for more than one year
