Yes I just want to ask if I can retract my resignation and ask to be terminated instead

I just signed my resignation last Monday and was told that I was still employed till end of October unless I surrender my passport for cancellation

They made me choose wether resigned or termination and was told that either of the two I will still get the same package

We would like you to know that you can retract the resignation if the employer accepts it amicably and then you receive all your rights and terminate the contract and then cancel the residence.
According to UAE law:
An employment contract shall be terminated in any of the following cases:
1. By mutual agreement of the Parties, provided that the worker's consent is given in writing;
2. Upon expiry of its term, unless it has been expressly or implicitly extended according to the provisions of this Law;
3. For the convenience of either party to an indefinite term contract, provided that the provisions of this Law concerning the notice and the valid grounds of termination without arbitrariness are adhered to.
