Hi. I am facing a difficulty with my ex employer who doesn't pay my gradudity almost 3 months after my termination. What to do next?

I am in my home country now, but my UAE visa is not canceled yet due to the issue. I will come in UAE next week.

What do you mean filed? I have lots of correspondence with the company promising the payment will be done this week or next week, which never happened

We would like to inform you that according to the UAE Labor Law and regarding to the end of service benefits and entitlement, it shall be paid once the work is completed and within ten days at the latest.
Thus, if you are outside the country with the validity of the visa, you can return and follow up the matter by filing a complaint at the Labor Office as it the competent authority if there are problems and labor disputes
If it is not possible, you may refer to the court and get a court ruling obliging the employer to pay you according to the law

Good morning, Thank you for the answer. Appreciated!I am back in UAE again and met my ex employer. The answer this time was that the company is running out of funds and may pay my dues only when they get such. No any term was mentioned, which makes me worried that the case may go to unknow future. I am unfortunately unable to accept such scenario due to common sense reasons.My question is, is there any chance the Labor Office to force them to pay me or not?Thank you!

As we mentioned, you have to go immediately to the labor office and ask for your rights before passing a year of nor asking for your right so not to lose your right in compensation and benefits.
